Mental Health Support
You're not alone, and help is available.
Novo exists because algorithmic, infinite-scroll feeds are built to hold your attention, and a growing body of research links heavy use of that kind of content to increased anxiety, low mood, poor sleep, and social comparison, especially for teens. Cutting back on Reels and Shorts can help, but it isn't a substitute for real support if you're struggling. If that's where you are right now, please reach out to one of the services below. All of them are free, confidential, and staffed by real people.

If it's not a crisis, but you're not okay
You don't have to be in crisis to deserve support. If social media, comparison, or just the pace of everything is wearing you down, it's worth talking to someone you trust: a parent, friend, GP, school counsellor, or therapist. Small, ongoing conversations often matter more than waiting until things feel unmanageable.
A note on what Novo is (and isn't)
Novo is a screen-time and content-filtering tool, not a mental health service. It can help reduce exposure to the kind of content that tends to make people feel worse, but it can't diagnose, treat, or replace professional care. If you're supporting a child who's struggling, the services above also take calls from parents and carers looking for guidance.
